Counselling Cell

Counselling is a process that aims to facilitate personal well being of the students through support and guidance of trained counselors, for a healthy mind and body.

With the intent to handle, facilitate and resolve emotional and psychological problems with the students, the college has initiated the “Counselling Cell” within the college premises with the assistance of a trained team of faculty members as Counselors. The counselling cell provides a happy and comfortable environment for students to discuss their problems regarding their academic and social life.

The counselling Cell encourages the students to grasp themselves and therefore the problems that bother them and guides them to resolve their issues. These issues are often personal, emotional, social, family, peer, academic, sexual, etc. this can be done through individual or group counselling to assist them with educational goals, social and temperament development, career goals, enhancing listening skills, fellow feeling, and social skills to own healthy relationships and a healthy mode.

The goal of counselling is to facilitate positive behaviour changes, rising the student’s ability to determine and maintain relationships socially, promoting their decision-making process, serving to the student to grasp their own potential and cope effectively with the issues they face.

  • The main purposes of counselling are to promote this kind of awareness, to facilitate this kind of choice.
  • To identify the problem areas or difficulties of individuals, their potentialities, and limitations
  • To help students develop their potentialities through a greater self-understanding to enable them to take full advantage of the environmental resources
  • To help mitigate suffering, reach appropriate solutions, take responsible decisions, and enable students to become self-actualized individuals.
